This museum highlights the importance of rail tranportation to and from Llano from the late 1800’s to the present day. With rare artifacts (many from Llano) and interpretive displays, this museum will thrill young and old alike. You can send a telegraph on THE ORIGINAL machine used to relay critical train route info from Llano. You can also activate a Railroad Crossing bell with a push of a button. The museum highlights the importance of the Southern Pacific and Pacific Train route for commercial and passenger traffic. The railroad was critical to the development of Llano as a town.
